NDE Archive is a free, passion-driven project run by a single person. No teams, companies, or investors behind it. Just a genuine interest in near-death experiences and a commitment to keeping them freely accessible, without paywalls, subscriptions, or ads.

The stories and database live on a personal home server, and the website runs on paid online hosting. This keeps everything free, but the site has real limits: it cannot handle large spikes in traffic, and occasional slowdowns are possible. Donations help cover running costs and, one day, move to something more capable.

Every contribution, big or small, goes directly into keeping this project alive.

Better Analysis, More Accurate Insights

The NDE data currently on this site was analyzed using a language model I could afford out of pocket, which, frankly, is not the most capable one out there. The results are useful, but a stronger model would produce more accurate classifications.

If donations grow enough to cover it, I plan to re-process the entire dataset with a more capable model, upgrading the quality of every analysis on the site in one go. Think of it as a one-time investment that makes the whole archive significantly more valuable.
